THE BIGGEST CONTROVERSIES OF INDIAN CRICKETERS : PART 2
Welcome again!
If you are seeing this post, you probably would've seen the first post on this topic. If you haven't, then go see that first.
So let's get started.
1. VIRAT KOHLI
The Indian cricketer triggered a controversy in 2012 by showing the middle finger to the Sydney crowd during a Test match between India and Australia(refer to the last post😆). He made the gesture while fielding on the boundary. Although Virat claimed that he lost temper after being verbally abused by the spectators, he was fined half the match fee, and when he was asked to do so, he made a gesture like the one shown in the photograph.
2. NAVJOT SIDHU
THOKO TAALI!!
Navjot Singh Sidhu, former Indian opener, was accused of murdering Patiala resident Gurnam Singh in 1988. In December 2006, Sidhu was found guilty and sentenced to a three-year prison term for culpable homicide following the road rage incident. Overturning his acquittal by a lower court, the High court said that Sidhu should be punished under Section 304(II) (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).
3. MOHAMMAD AZHARUDDIN

the real MOHAMMAD AZHARUDDIN |
Former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin’s career ended in disgrace in 2000 when he was banned for life from playing the game after he admitted to fixing three ODI matches. Although the court lifted the ban in 2012, Azhar's career was already over.
4. VIRAT KOHLI
During the Boxing Day Test against Australia in 2014, Mitchell Johnson fired in a throw straight back at Kohli who was nearing a century at that moment. Kohli had a heated exchange of words with Johnson and even lost his concentration a bit. Though he stuttered for the next 20 minutes and went onto score a brilliant 169 that helped India post a respectable score in the first innings at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.
5. MS DHONI
MS Dhoni lost his cool after India's exit from the 2016 T20 World Cup at the semi-final against the West Indies. When a foreign journalist asked him about his retirement from the shorter versions of the game during the post-match press conference, the Indian skipper invited him to sit next to him on the dais. When the reporter sat down, Dhoni asked him: "Do you think I can survive till the 2019 World Cup?" The Aussie reporter replied: "You should, yes, sure." "Then you have answered the question," Dhoni told the reporter.
